I'm about to purchase a new Wireless USB Adapter.
I have the one listed first below.
http://www.tp-link.com/products/product_spe.asp?id=47

I added an N connector to it to attach it to an antenna.
It does what I wanted it to do.

I will purchase a second Wireless USB Adapter, I'm looking at
this one.

http://www.tp-link.com/products/product_spe.asp?id=5

This one says up to 830 meter range outdoors. Hard to believe!
There are no distance claims for the one I have. The output power shows the
second one has 1dbm additional power, negligible.
The second one claims higher signal rates, 108mbps, I assume that's useless
if the router is 54mbps?
If you know of an inexpensive Wireless USB Adapter with a connector
I'd like a link.
Looking for opinions for a purchase.
Thanks, Mike

Thanks seaweeds, I'll look into this one, I do have a concern about the
overheating, I'm using it outdoors in the Florida sun. Although the one I'm
using is only spec'ed to 104*F and it seems ok.
